The Brookville Bees Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Team finished 2nd today, in the VHSL Class 3 Swimming & Diving Championship, held in Richmond, VA. Being named the State Runner-Up is the highest finish in Brookville Swimming & Diving history. Brookville finished with 207.5 points (Behind defending State Champions, Western Albemarle). Brookville had beaten Western Albemarle earlier in the month for the Class 3 Region C Title.
Scoring for States included the following...
Daniel Pettyjohn received All-State Honorable Mention honors for his efforts in the Boys 200 IM and the Boys 100 Breast.
Also the Boys 200 Yard Medley Relay Team of Colby Childress, Daniel Pettyjohn, Brandon Naylor, & Brent Riner received All-State Honorable Mention for their swim.
